Season 3 of NCIS consists of 24 episodes from “Kill Ari, Part I” to “Hiatus, Part II”. It all started with our beloved Caitlin “Kate” Todd being buried because she was murdered. In season 3, Liaison Officer Ziva David is introduced who plays a big role in the murdering of Kate. Ziva didn’t murder Kate, but in fact murdered her step brother because he is the killer who murdered Kate. Gibbs watched the entire story go down and witnessed Ziva murder Kate’s killer. If you watch NCIS season 3, Gibbs pretends he was the one who played the role of killing Kate’s killer.
Jenny Shepard who was one of the directors joins the cast and we soon find out that she had a personal relationship with our friend Gibbs. Gibbs was slowly recovering but was outraged how the Agency handled one of the cases so he turned in his gun and badge and worked for his former Boss Mike Franks in Baja Mexico.
